Volunteers with the Museum of the History of Science, Technology and Medicine have the chance to meet new people, develop their skills and gain valuable experience in a range of areas. These include collections documentation, historical research, object photography, exhibition development, conservation and public engagement, working with a range of audiences including adults and school groups.
No previous museum experience is necessary. We welcome new volunteers all year round to get involved with our on-going activities. Any specific projects currently requiring volunteers will also be advertised below. Please contact Museum-of-HSTM@leeds.ac.uk for more information about these or to discuss developing a project to suit your own interests.

We currently require volunteers to photograph objects from our collection, to provide images for our catalogue, website and other publicity.
