Museum of the History of Science, Technology and Medicine

DSC_0517The museum task force endeavours to use the objects in our collection to develop object histories, understand the people who used them and contribute to the history of the University, science and education. Recent examples of our research can be found on our blog and some examples of more extensive case-studies can by clicking the links in the sidebar on the left.

Those wishing to begin their own object-based research in the history of science, our specially commissioned guide, written by former taskforce member Lisa Popp, will prove useful.

Our collections are available for research purposes; please see education and engagement for more information on visiting and researching with the collections or volunteering opportunities if you would like to be involved with the museum and our research projects.
