New Exhibition Launched
February 13th, 2014
The Museum of the History of Science, Technology and Medicine have recently launched a new exhibition, Meta Museum – Redefining the case for display. This display was curated by 3rd year undergraduates and masters students enrolled on our new museum modules. Using a wide range of objects from the museum collection, they have represented a number of different approaches to museum display. This aim is to provide an insight into the usually hidden theoretical approaches and decision-making processes that go into the finished product viewed by the museum visitor. For more information about their work, see our blog.
The display is located within the Gillinson room, a teaching space in the Michael Sadler building. To enquire about access contact the museum director, Dr Claire Jones, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
