Stephanie Upsall – West Yorkshire Theatre Network
Stephanie has travelled many different paths over the last few years and continues to find new and exciting projects to get stuck into. She’s worked with disabled young adults for over ten years creating theatre, been a drama facilitator for several years, did a year’s intensive acting course with the Year Out Drama Company in Stratford-Upon-Avon and studied a Drama Degree at Kingston University, London.
Stephanie has worked in various theatres in London, Leeds and at the Edinburgh Fringe as a Performer, Venue Technician, Stage Manger, Assistant Director and Director since 2005. Whilst doing her degree she also trained in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and is a fully qualified practitioner. She is an events manager of several music and arts events and festivals including Wharfedale Delta Music Festival. She is currently in the process of opening an arts and music venue in Leeds City Centre.
When Stephanie moved Up North from London in 2008 she felt there was a need for a supportive network to connect all the amazing creative work and talented people in the West Yorkshire area. This is where West Yorkshire Theatre Network was born. She is very humbled by all the fantastic creatives she has already met on her journey and is looking forward to meeting you.
