Welcome to UGRE Leeds!

The UGRE is a student initiative launched in the Faculty of Arts in 2011. It is an informal and exhilarating take on the traditional academic conference, welcoming students from across the Faculty of Arts to present their research and celebrate their work.

In the past we have welcomed a wide range of presentation styles, including a ‘speed-dating’-style dissertation poster session, interactive exhibitions and seminars run by undergraduates, and even a research photography exhibition. There is also the opportunity to exchange advice with other students about academic work, and meet local professionals who utilise research in their occupations.
