There are plenty of useful resources on the web which can help you to start to learn about Islam.
It is very important, however, that you treat all resources on the internet (including this one!) with care.
Ask yourself:
• Who has produced this?
• Why have they produced it?
• Whose perspective am I getting?
• Is this a reliable resource?
Remember, if you are starting to study Islam at University, as part of a degree programme, you must use web resources with great care.
They do not have the same validity as academic texts – if you are unsure check with your lecturer or tutor.
